Some trains require reservations. Does yours?
Feel free to hop on and off Italy’s trains without reservations using your pass. But reservations are required when traveling on international day and night trains, domestic high-speed and InterCity trains, and all overnight trains. Reservations are at an additional cost and can be requested within 60 days of your travel date for domestic trains and up to 90 days prior on international trains.
