Passes: Rail n' Drive

Q. The Rail 'n Drive Pass fare is based on 2 people traveling. How is the fare calculated when there are more than 2 people traveling together?A. Some Rail n Drives offer special discounted rates to additional people traveling. If a discount is not offered then a rail pass would need to be purchased for the remaining passengers.
Q. When a Rail 'n Drive pass is purchased, what is the minimum age requirement for the driver?A. The licensed driver must be at least 25 years of age.
A driver is also required to have a valid North American driver's license issued at least one year prior to rental, and present a current major credit card in their name (American Express, Diner's Club, Visa or MasterCard). The driver's license must be presented at the time of rental in Europe.
Q. If I pick up a car in one location and drop it off at a different location, will there be a fee? A. There may be pick up and drop off fees with the Rail n' Drive passes. We will advise you of any additional pick up and drop off fees before finalizing your order. Some fees that may apply:
Drop fees (picking up in one city and returning the car in another city) in Italy are approximately 39 Euros.
International drop fees (picking up in one country and returning the car in another country) are approximately $50-250 USD
Q. If I pick up or return my rental car at an Airport will there be an airport fee?A. There will be a surcharge of approximately 25 Euros.

Q. Can additional days be added to my Rail 'n Drive pass after it is purchased?A. No. However, before departing for Europe, the pass can be exchanged for a pass with additional days.
