High Speed Rail News: Reporting The Future of Travel

High Speed RailGlobalization. The world is flat. Say it however you wish, but our world is increasingly becoming smaller – and not in the physical sense. Boundaries are becoming boundless. We’ll want to travel to meetings from Great Britain to Bratislava. Seville to Sochi. And airports? Getting larger. More inconvenient. A shell of its former glory when you’d dress up in your Sunday best and be served a hot meal by a beauty pageant reject.

Frederic LangloisHigh-speed rail is the future of travel – and no longer just across major cities. Or countries. We’re talking continents. This new blog section dares to decimate any notion that the train is anything but modern, efficient and futuristic. And will change the way we travel in exciting new ways.

Our President and CEO, Frédéric Langlois, will be contributing to this blog monthly, sharing his passion for travel and high-speed rail of which he is considered an expert. With over 17 years in the industry, Langlois sits on the Advisory Boards of the German National Tourist Office, the French National Tourist Office and hotel giant Accor. In addition, he has appeared on cable news discussing the future of high-speed trains in the United States.

Frederic Langlois grew up in Paris, France and has lived in several cities throughout Africa and Europe.

It may not be “Beam Me Up” fast, but it’s close. Stay tuned as new speed records are shattered and our brave new world comes together like never before.
