Great tour - really friendly, fun and informative guide giving us a good tour of the city. We did this on our first morning and gave us a great basis for the rest of our holiday with top tips of the coffee shops and resturants to go to. Passed other tours during the holiday and none seemed to have as charasmatic a guide! Highly recommended!
The guide was exellent and we really felt we'd gotten a great vaue when we were done.
We did the walk on our first morning and it was a great introduction to the city. Our guide Horst was very knowledgeable and very amusing. He gave us a good tip on the Vienna jazz scene and we went to a wonderful concert the next night at Porgy and Bess.
Horst was a wonderful tour guide -- he quickly showed us the highlights of the First District while entertaining us with historical facts and memorable stories. Highly recommend!
This was a great way to orient yourself to the city and get a quick glimpse of the people, architecture and cafes of Vienna!
This is an excellent orientation tour of Vienna. The tour guide was very friendly and entertaining. The pace was good and the guide gave us a lot of background and historical information that made the event well worthwhile. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vienna.
Thank you for sending the survey. It was a great tour and made all the more better by our tour guide.
Horst was our guide and he was the best. He certainly knew his city and took the time to listen to all of the participants in the group and answered all of our questions.
Thank you Horst for a great job and because of your personal style I will be back to visit Vienna again soon.
This tour was really good the guide was really informative and could tell he loved his job
Everything you'd want from a guided walking tour. Our guide, Horst, did a great job showing us the major sights and sharing anecdotes about the city's history you can't read in any book. Even though we walked all over the city, he never made it rushed and always sort of casually strolled from one location to the next. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Vienna.
Excellent tour. Our guide, Walter, was very knowledgable, and his dry humor added to the three-hour Vienna experience.
Andrea was such a mine of information. it was a wonderful morning.
We found Andrea so interesting and loved the walking tour. We were 4 pensioners but the pace Andrea took us round was just right for us. She shows you the sites you may not find without the knowledge she has, and of course explains them. It gives you a great introduction to the lovely Vienna .Thank you Andrea.
We had a very good, energetic, informative and knowledgeable guide, Natalie Bauer (I think)..She filled us on the archetectural, cultural and historical details of the sites that she took us on the walking tour. Very enjoyable tour, I would not hesitate to recommend.
This tour was amazing!
Great tour ... we got lucky our .. tour guide Andrea was exceptional ... knowledgeable, great sense of humor ... she was so eager to share all her wealth of information with the group... We saw all basic sights , she gave some good ,'local' advice of what to do , where to eat in Vienna ... Definitely will recommend this tour. Vienna, and old Vienna is relatively small place so the best way to explore it is by walking ... so City Walking Tour was perfect for this purpose.
Interesting, insightful and entertaining. Even though it was pouring with rain, our guide kept us enthralled with the history of Vienna. His humour engaged us. Gave us a sense of how the city linked together both geographically and historically. Thank you
Andrea was an excellent guide. She was very entertaining and informative. This tour is a great introduction to the city. Well worth the money.
Great tour. Perfect for first time visitors to Vienna. You get to see a lot in a short period of time. Good way to get your bearings for further sightseeing on your own.
The tour was nicely timed because it was not too long and we walked around a very big part of the city so it was very informative
Awesome tour! Mario was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and fun! Vienna is a beautiful city and this tour is a great way to get your bearings. Highly recommended.
We switched to the bike tour last minute and it was awesome. I loved seeing Vienna by bike and our tour guide was great.
P A G
We have always done a walking tour in all the European cities we have visited and this rates as one of the best. Although being nearly 70 and probably over twice the age of our companions, our guide seemed to pace the tour to suit everyone and we felt confident that we were not holding things up. She is a lovely lady, full of knowledge and the all-important enthusiasm. Her opinions and little stories brought the history to life. The time passed very quickly and this tour is well worth the cost. We travelled to Vienna by a local bus from Bratislava and took a taxi (approx 10 mins) to the Viator office. We first used Viator for trips in Alaska and since then would always look at what they had to offer first. Their website is excellent and booking online is so easy.
lots of fun
Great tour. I didn't like being left in the city to get back byself. Great history.
