Very enjoyable trip to York. We had a three day YorkPass and made full use of it.
The cards are a great way to see York as then you don't have to worry about how much visiting the places that you want to will cost great value
IT WAS GREAT HAVING ALL THESE TICKETS IN ADVANCE AND WAS WELL WORTH THE PACKAGE. YORK HAS SO MUCH TO OFFER. I DID AS MUCH AS I COULD IN THREE DAYS.
Our first visit to York and there will certainly be more! We stayed in lovely Dean Court Hotel so central and opposite the Minster. The YorkPass proved to be invaluable, first used at the York Museum to see the reconstructed head of King Richard iii, a wonderful sight. We then used it in a variety of shops and restaurants getting discounts.
The On/Off bus was a great success, giving us a good grounding on the centre and outskirts of York with the emphasis we wanted on the history of all we saw. We enjoyed the Ghost Walk and seeing parts of York which would be hidden from the casual observer.
The choir at Evensong in the Minister was a joy to always be remembered!
It was a short visit, so there is already an itinerary being prepared for the next visit!
the pass made access so quick and easy i didnt use it all but enjoyed the 7 places i went to. I found people very helpful as well.
Great value for money, went to 24 museums and attractions in the three days and saved over £50 in admission fees. I also got discounts in restaurants and shops. if you are visiting Yorkshire and planning on visiting lots of attractions this pass is absolutely essential.

York was fabulous, I want to go back!!!!!
Florence NAll of these passes are great. It saves you money. We had a one day pass and managed to see just about everything we wanted to. Wish we had been in York one more day.
Wayne BWould come back later in the year as there is so much to do and see and not enough time to fit it all in. Stayed for weeekend in the dairy guest house which was excellent and recommended, will walk the city wall and visit stately home on return visit in the summer. Beautiful, quaint city
M A Scompetative prices. site uncomplicated very user friendly
Richard Svery good value for money
John MWe had a fab' 3 days in York and would definately recommend the 'York Pass' tickets. We visited all that we planned and more, without once having to pay for hidden extras, and we saved ourselves quite a few pounds. Thanks.
Angela AThe York Pass was certainly value for money. We managed to visit quite a few of the places on the list but could of done with another day or two! We had a lovely few days in York and I'd certainly recommend it.
John OMOST of the tourist locations are included in the York Pass unlike the Great Brittish Heritage Pass which only had one location in York. Great buy and value.
Valerie FDepending on what you plan on seeing in York, this pass could save you a lot of money! We saw the York Minster, Jorvik Viking Center and the York Castle Museum which were all included with the pass in just one day and still had time to do at least one more thing, so it was totally worth having this pass, it saved us money unlike the London pass, which is overpriced and not worth it unless you can see almost everything in London in 1 day! Plus we did the Haunted house and got buy 1 get 1 free tickets with the pass. Picked it up from the Visitor info center upon arrival at the train station the day before, and you're given a handy booklet with a city map and insights on places to visit and special offers at certain restaurants and shops, which was nice. York is a very walkable city, with lots of things to see and do. Highly recommended!
William CYork has something for everyone. If you are in a central location almost all the attractions are a short walk away. The York pass is an excellent way of getting into the sights without breaking the bank. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our short break there and will visit again.
Bozena BOur trip was first class. The York Pass is excellent value and we even used it in Whitby when we had a day at the coast.
AnonymousCouple of days in york using the York Pass obtained through Viator. Really enjoyed it, very tiring as so many things to do and see. Certainly got our money's worth!
Charlotte HIf you want to do all the big York sites - Minster, Dungeons, Jorvik, Castle Museum...this is the best option!! We worked out that without the York Pass we'd have paid double for enterance fees to attractions!! Also includes great discounts at lovely restaurants - Strada, Russels etc. AND!! Its well known in York so you dont feel silly showing the pass! Very simple to collect from Tourist Centre so dont pay for p&p. Enjoy!
Marianne CWe were able to do a whistlestop tour of York in a day, visiting all major sites and events. It was good value for money as discounted on the standard price. The only downfall was the need to buy ink for the printer to print out the email attachment.
David AI really enjoyed my trip to New York. The York Pass worked out really well.
The attractions in York are excellent and we enjoyed all our experiences. The major problem we had was the lack of quality signage to give directions to those like us who need to walk between attractions,
The maps used are sometimes a bit unclear as to street names and we found our selves having to ask for directions many times.
We made fairly good use of the York Pass because York is a small city and fairly easy to get around, however some places are, even with the assistance of locals, well hidden and very hard to find. I am not sure that we saved any money by purchasing the Pass as we didn't get around all the places that we planned. If we returned to York, we would not buy the Pass again because having purchased it, we felt we needed to make best use of it, rather than 'going with the flow' and enjoying each experience.
