Amsterdam City Sightseeing Tour
Get your bearings on this 3-hour Amsterdam city tour, perfect for first-time visitors. On your morning or afternoon tour, see top Amsterdam attractions including the Royal Palace, National Monument and Albert Cuyp Market, plus a diamond factory and windmill. If you have a little extra time, add on a delightful 1-hour cruise for a comprehensive introduction to this magical city of canals and gabled houses.
What You Can Expect
Begin your Amsterdam city tour by boarding your air-conditioned coach in central Amsterdam. With thousands of monuments and historic buildings, Amsterdam has the largest historical city center in Europe. The city is distinguished by its three rings of canals lined by elaborately decorated merchants' residences and warehouses built in the 17th century, the Dutch Golden Age. When the canals were built, 90 islands were created, connected by hundreds of charming bridges.
As you travel through Amsterdam, your knowledgeable guide will point out the many fascinating sights in the old and newer parts of this beautiful city. Admire highlights such as the Royal Palace, National Monument, the Skinny Bridge and Albert Cuyp Market. You will also see quaint gabled houses, visit a windmill on the River Amstel and stop at a diamond factory where you can watch gems being polished using traditional methods.
For a more in-depth Amsterdam sightseeing experience, opt to add on a canal cruise. Your 1-hour cruise takes you along canals lined with 17th-century merchant houses, centuries-old warehouses and churches with bell towers. You will also pass through Amsterdam's old harbor.
Whichever option you choose, you will end your introductory tour in central Amsterdam with a much better idea of all this dynamic city has to offer.

Excelent guide, very good experience....can only recommend!!!
This was an excellent tour with an excellent tour guide, Wout. He made the information exciting and detailed and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is an excellent way to learn about Amsterdam. We added the 1 hour canal tour which gave us a different perspective and was also excellent.
Very good. There is actually not that much to see architecturally from a bus ride in central Amsterdam but the commentary in English and Spanish on Amsterdam in general was very informative and amusing. We did go outside the built-up area to see a windmill famously painted by Rembrant but the highlight for me was a visit to a diamond merchant/factory and the opportunity to see some really expensive, sparkling diamonds. After the bus tour we went on a one hour canal boat tour but the timing for this is flexible so you don't have to go straight away.
This tour was awesome. Guide was knowledgeable and bus was comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.
good informative tour of the city and the diamonds

Very informative tour of this lovely city which has so much history.
We really enjoyed this excursion. to begin with the weather was lovely and hot, the lady comontator was exceptional really Informative, how she managed four languages so easily I just don't know! We feel we got a very good insight into Amsterdam including the architecture. We stopped at a lovely windmill and had time to take photos. The tour included an hours visit to a diamond factory and saleroom, very tempting but we were not pressurised into buying. All in all this three hour excursion get 5 stars from us.
We loved the sightseeing tour and cruise add-on. We were only in Amsterdam for one day and learned a lot about this beautiful place. Did you know Amsterdam has more canals than Venice? The Red Light district was interesting too. In case you didn't know, the girls in the windows wear bathing suites. That was a relief because we were worried about that, being conservative southerners from USA. Nothing to worry about.
Another great tour! Tour guide was very informative!

Was very good. Very interesting. the weather was not the best but aniway we enjoy the tour.
For the time that we had free within flights it was a very good tour, I wish we had more time to visit other areas near Amsterdam
You got to see a lot in a short space of time. Lovely city.
I really enjoyed the Amsterdam City Sightseeing Tour, along with the relaxing canal cruise. I didn't get to see any windmills.
Very informative, not much interested in the diamond tour which was very conjested and not enjoyable at all.
Everything else was good.
