Just 30 minutes from Madrid on the high-speed AVE, Toledo explores the triumphant, triumvirate of religions that lived side-by-side in peace. With a Toledo Card, you’ll gain entry into the city’s major museums, monuments and churches, including front-of-the-line entry and guided tour of the Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary.

Visit the 12th century Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca and the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, one of the most stunning examples of Gothic architecture in Spain. The Church of Saint Tome houses the timeless El Greco masterpiece El Entierro del Señor de Orgaz.

Here’s what’s included:

    • A voucher valid for 1 day access to major museums and monuments.
    • Single entrance to the following attractions: Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary & Museums, Church of Saint Tome, Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca, Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes.
    • Guided tour of Primate Cathedral with priority access.

 

Conditions:

    • Rail Europe voucher is exchanged for your Toledo Card. 
    • Voucher must be exchanged within 6 months of purchase.
    • Guided tour of Primate Cathedral is confirmed in Madrid when you exchange your voucher.
    • Guided tour is available at the following times:
      • Mondays - Saturdays at 11:10am, 12:40 and 2:10pm.
      • Sundays at 2:10pm.
    • Travelers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour time and present your Toledo Card.
    • Once the Card has been exchanged the Card is non-refundable.
    • Tours do not operate on December 24, 25 and 31and January 1 and 6.
    • Prices are subject to change.
Where can I exchange my Toledo Card voucher?

The voucher is exchanged at the Madrid Viajes Reina office, which is located at the high-speed trains arrival hall on the ground floor of the Madrid Puerta De Atocha train station.

What sights will I see with my Toledo Card?
  • Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary and Museums is a unique cathedral within Spain. Toledo’s Catedral Primada is a spectacular example of Spanish architecture and art.
  • The Church of Saint Tome houses the painting of El Greco “El Entierro del Señor de Orgaz” (The Burial of the Count of Orgaz). This timeless masterpiece is displayed over the tomb of the Count of Orgaz.
  • The Synagogue of Santa Maria la Blanca was originally built as a synagogue at the end of the 12th century.  At the beginning of the 15th century it became a church for the Order of Calatrava. The building no longer serves as a place of worship but  is now a place for cultural events and gatherings.
  • The Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes is one of the most stunning works of Gothic architecture in Spain. The temple is dedicated to Saint John the Evangelist and is thought  to have been built with the possiblity of becoming his future burial site.
