Stuttcard

Royal Palace in Stuttgart

Here’s the Astute Way to Travel to Stuttgart

In 1871, Gottlieb Daimler invented the first car in Stuttgart. But that doesn’t mean the automobile is the best way to get around the city.

The Stuttcard, when combined with a VVS 3-day ticket, gives you travel on the city’s public transportation system. Plus, enjoy free or reduced admission to museums, spas, restaurants and tours including 20% off the 2 1/2 hour "City Tour.”

This city in the former Swabia region (today’s Baden-Wurttemberg) is really more than motoring. For centuries, and really, up until a bit over 100 years ago, wine was Stuttgart’s main export. Check out the history at the Museum of Viniculture – free with your card.

If you have the drive to see more, look no further than the Stuttcard. You can get behind the wheel of your own car back home.
