Ancient Rome Tour

Live the Legend – The Ancient Rome Tour

Why Rome alone? Get an overview of the Eternal City on this 3-hour group walking tour. With groups sizes ranging from 5 to 12 people, you'll be sure to hear every word of your English-speaking guide. First visit the Forum, which was the center of social and political activity in Ancient Rome. From here the tour continues to the Colosseum where your group will receive priority entrance – no waiting in line! Learn how the structure was constructed and could once hold 50,000 spectators. You’ll enter through one of 80 passageways – four of which were reserved for the emperor, nobles and gladiators. The tour continues to Constantine’s Arch and concludes in Palatine Hill, where recent excavations have provided evidence that people may have lived there since 1000 BC.
