~ Rail Europe announces the opening of new high speed routes from Paris or London to Interlaken ~

White Plains, N.Y., October 18, 2012 - Rail Europe Inc., is pleased to announce new and faster inter-country connections via high speed trains in Europe. A new Franco-Swiss TGV Lyria route connecting Paris to Interlaken will begin service on Dec 9, 2012. Travelers can go from the Paris art scene to the Swiss alps and enjoy traditional Swiss art in the form of the Eiger, Monch & Jungfrau mountain peaks.

For travelers who begin their European vacation in London, Interlaken will be just a short train journey away as of December 9, 2012. Eurostar trains make for speedy connections from London to Paris or Lille, where travelers can seamlessly connect to the new high speed TGV Lyria and continue on to Interlaken and other Swiss destinations. Tickets are available for sale beginning Oct 11, 2012 and for travel from London or Paris to Interlaken from December 9, 2012 on raileurope.com.
