Exclusive “Bachelor Romance Package” available from Rail Europe, Inc.

White Plains, N.Y., March 1, 2012 - For a limited time only, romantically inclined travelers to Switzerland can vacation like the Bachelor did! From March 12 to July 12*, Rail Europe, Inc. will be offering a romantic rail & hotel vacation package to Switzerland. The Bachelor Romance Package will be available on the company’s Web site at raileurope.com/promotions/the-bachelor (please note that this page will not be live until March 12, 2012). The Bachelor Romance Package includes a 4-night hotel stay at either the Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa or the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, plus a 1st or 2nd class rail component. Prices for the Deluxe hotel package start from $2743** per person sharing and with 2nd class rail component prices start from $2648** per person sharing.

In the season finale, the newest Bachelor, Ben Flajnik, travelled by train from Interlaken to Zermatt, enjoying the breathtaking scenery of Switzerland along the way. In Interlaken, Ben and the bachelorettes traveled to the village of Wengen and to the lower Grindenwald Glacier and stayed at the VICTORIA-JUNGFRAU Grand Hotel & Spa. While in Zermatt, the Bachelor and bachelorettes enjoyed the picturesque village of Zermatt and the breathtaking vista of the Matterhorn peak and enjoyed the beautiful Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, located in the center of town.

Romantically inclined travelers can take advantage of our Peaks of the World Package which is available all year long. In the spirit of romance, travelers will receive a free upgrade from a 3 star to a 4 star hotel, when traveling between April 14 and June 15, 2012. Prices for the Peaks of the World Package include a 4 night hotel stay, the free 4 star hotel upgrade, plus a 1st class rail component starting from $1,139** per person sharing and with 2nd class rail component prices start from $999** per person sharing.
