Rail Europe Offers Free Rail Travel Days in Germany This Summer

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 13, 2011 – Rail Europe Inc., the North American leader in European rail travel, offers travelers the chance to enjoy more of Germany for less with its German Rail Pass Summer Special.

For a limited time this summer, travelers who purchase a German Rail Pass will get up to two additional days of rail travel for free.

The German Rail Pass Summer Special offers five days of rail travel for the price of a four-day German Rail Pass or ten days of rail travel for the price of an eight-day German Rail Pass. Prices start at $273USD/ $268CAD*. Offer applies to bookings purchased through Rail Europe Inc. by July 11, 2011. Rail Europe’s German Rail Pass provides travelers with extensive train travel from three to ten days on the national rail network of Germany. The pass is also valid to Salzburg (Austria) and Basel Bad (Switzerland), and includes free or discounted travel on certain Europabuses and steamers. From Schloss Neuschwanstein near Fussen, to the historic Wartburg Castle, travelers will enjoy the sites of Germany for less this summer.
