White Plains, N.Y., October 19, 2010– Rail Europe Inc. announces the German Rail Pass Sale, offering two additional rail days for free, with the purchase of a three-day German Rail Pass; so travelers get five full days of rail travel in Germany for the price of three. Travelers can book their passes online by visiting German Rail Pass Sale. Promotional rates for the German Twin Pass start at $256*. The promotion is valid on all German Rail Passes in both first and second class. Travel days can be used consecutively or non-consecutively within a one-month period. The offer is available for booking from October 17 to December 9, 2010, and travel must take place within six months from date of purchase.

Germany’s extensive rail system offers travelers convenience and speed, allowing riders to journey from the Frankfurt airport to destinations within a 300-mile radius in less than two hours. German Rail Pass holders have unlimited access to Germany’s national rail network, including trains such as the Inter City Express (ICE) and CityNightLine. The pass is also valid for journeys to Salzburg, Austria and Basel Bad, Switzerland, and provides free or discounted travel on certain Europabuses and steamers.
