Rail Europe Offers Thalys Special 50% Discount on One-Way Train Tickets for Travel Between France-Belgium-Netherlands-Germany

White Plains, New York, May 28, 2009 – Rail Europe offers up to 50% off the regular price for one-way full-fare tickets on all routes of the high-speed Thalys train connecting Paris-Brussels-Amsterdam-Cologne. Tickets must be booked through Rail Europe by August 15, 2009 for travel through August 29, 2009.

This special offer is for 1st or 2nd class full-fare tickets between all French, Belgian, Dutch and German cities Thalys serves. For example, the regular one-way full-fare ticket between Paris and Brussels costs from $199* USD and $243* CAD in 1st class or $127* USD and $155* CAD in 2nd class. With this special promotion these prices drop to approx $100* USD and $122* CAD for 1st class or $57* USD and $70* CAD for 2nd class travel. While full-fare tickets are fully exchangeable and refundable, the special promotional fares are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. With up to 25 daily departures between Paris and Brussels, 8 between Paris and Amsterdam and 6 between Paris and Cologne, Thalys train connections are convenient as well as fast.
